Mary Shelly’s FRANKENSTEIN: A Celebration 200 Years In The Making!

SHARE NOW

It’s often credited as the first “monster” book. The granddaddy of all monsters.  A novel that dared to ask the questions of not only the moral implications of “playing God” but also what is the purpose of life?  What basic human needs are most important?  What lengths will we go to defend and or avenge them?  And what actual right do we have to any of it?

For over 200 hundred years it has spawned hundreds of film, television, stage and comic book adaptations. Inspired countless concepts that are now so associated with horror lore they are one with the genre. And influenced hundreds of creators, artists and storytellers to peak behind the dark side of science as well as the consequences of human curiosity.  We are of course talking about Mary Shelley’s masterpiece Frankenstein, The Modern Prometheus.

Join us as we dive into the history and legacy of the greatest monster of them all and celebrate the 200th birthday of Victor Frankenstein, The Creature and Shelley’s triumphant horror novel and discover why, after 200 years, it is still alive!…here on this special episode of 2GuysTalkingHorror.
