Return to Learn After Concussion

If you have a child who has a concussion there may be all sorts of guidance you may receive on what to do for your child. Unfortunately, in caring for kids with concussions, I see outdated advice given on a regular basis and often families rely on recommendations from other parents or online information for their kids. This may lead your young athlete doing things or even not doing the things that may be of help to them in their recovery or it may even slow down their recovery. We will tackle all types of topics related to concussions throughout the Healthy Young Athlete Podcast, but in this episode on Returning To Learn we will be focusing on ways to support your student athlete in the school setting.
