We are nearing the end of March 2021. It is Brain Injury Awareness Month but certainly not to be overlooked, it’s also National Athletic Training Month. I’ve said it before that I don’t think it’s a coincidence, given that the important role our athletic trainers take in concussion awareness, education, diagnosis and management that both athletic training and brain injury awareness are featured in the same month. Today on the podcast, I am joined by three athletic trainers who have a played a prominent role in my life as a sports medicine physician. I’ve certainly learned from them and the many other athletic trainers I’ve had the pleasure of working with over the years. Let’s talk athletic training!
